The Fellowship is actively engaged in an outreach project aimed at equipping and empowering leaders while uplifting the community of Braam Fischer. We are collaborating with Past Mnosi and her dedicated team of women, who have established a ministry to support individuals in need of assistance and spiritual nourishment. Their Ministry in Braam Fischer serves as a base for these efforts.
• Clothing Distribution: The Fellowship donated second-hand clothing to the Braam Fischer team for distribution to those in need.
• Children’s Support: We contributed to the support for 250 children, spreading joy and hope during the festive season.
Plans are underway to establish a few initiatives to address the community’s needs:
• A clinic to provide essential medical care.
• In partnership with the local school, to implement a feeding program for children.
• The establishment of a recreational centre designed to offer a safe and engaging space for youth development.
While much remains in a development phase, we are committed to creating a meaningful and lasting impact in Braam Fischer.
Thank You to all who has supported these initiatives. Your generosity and prayers are instrumental in transforming lives and building a stronger, hope-filled community.
Together, we are making a difference!
With the support of The Gideons International in South Africa, we have been able to place New Testament Bibles in the hands of detainees at the Randburg and Linden Police holding cells after sharing the Gospel with them. In 2024 alone, 1251 Testaments were distributed by a team of five dedicated volunteers.
We often witness divine intervention in the lives of this “captive audience,” as the message of hope begins to take root.
Our ministry operates on a monthly schedule, which also includes serving the South African Police Service (SAPS) members.
This involves:
• Leading parade openings in the mornings for Visible Police, Detectives, and Support Staff.
• Hosting a weekly prayer meeting, open to everyone in the stations as well as the community.
• Providing counseling services upon request for SAPS members, offering support for those facing emotional or spiritual challenges.
We have also started a discipling fellowship meeting, focusing on intentionally fulfilling the Great Commission as outlined in Matthew 28. Outreach activities, such as ministering to detainees, serve as “feeding sources” for young Christians who desire to grow spiritually and learn to obey all that Jesus has commanded.
Together, let’s build a community that reflects the love, compassion, and hope of Jesus Christ.
There are many other pressing needs in our community that require attention. We are seeking greater involvement and partnerships with individuals and organizations (NPOs) who share our vision to make a visible, lasting difference.
For those who feel called to join us, we encourage setting a daily alarm for 10:02 AM as a reminder to pray Luke 10:2: “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
